Emre Unayli was born in Bursa, Turkey in 1988. Ever since he was a little kid, he’s been influenced by his late grandfather and father who were into the art of Cinema. Thanks to his father, his first motion picture experience was in 1992, when he was only 4 years old. Since that day, he has seen thousands of films and always been a celluloid junkie.
Movies and tv shows has been a big part of Emre’s adolescence. He always felt different and more creative from his peers. That’s why most of time, Emre was sitting alone in the classroom, drawing movie posters or trying to write synopsis for imaginary films. Emre chose to study Cinema & Television in the university. In 2006, he got in Beykent University’s Cinema & Television program with %100 Scholarship. After a 4 year education, he graduated with high honors.
Later on, Emre decided that this B.A. on Cinema & Television wasn’t enough for him. Right after his graduation, he’s been accepted to the Miami Ad School’s Art Direction program with %50 Scholarship. With a hard work and true dedication, in October 2012, he won two awards from Hollywood Reporter’s Key Art Awards, including one Gold Statue.
When it comes to the Pop Culture, Emre is a maven* . Along with his love to the cinema, he’s also an audiophile, self-claimed television expert, a daydream believer.
